New Cafe Up and Rolling

December 30, 2013

NEW BREMEN  — Green Thumb Farm Fresh Cafe is made from scratch—not just the farm-to-table menu of paninis, desserts and soups but the business itself.

The building and the restaurant concept is the handiwork of proprietor Samantha Fledderjohann.

The most challenging aspect of finally being open for business on Ohio 66 as of Dec. 19, Fledderjohann said, is the commitment the restaurant takes, about twice as many hours per day as the business is open.

She said, however, the effort is worth it.

The Roughriders' switch to man-to-man defense held Indian Lake to just one second-quarter point and St. Marys excelled in their half-court offense to pull away for a 56-35 win on Saturday night at Memorial High School.
