Rider Drums Up Support

October 10, 2014

ST. MARYS — As a fourth or fifth grader, Dylan Brown says he remembers watching another school’s drum major perform on the football field one night.

He wasn’t particularly interested in music, but watching that student perform his routine with the baton sparked Brown’s interest.

“It looked like a lot of fun,” he said. “It was entertaining. It looked like something I might want to do.”
