ST. MARYS — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm advisory from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday for the region. Light freezing rain could mix with sleet early on. Light ice accumulations also are possible. Precipitation should change over to rain by noon.

ROSSFORD — St. Marys sophomore Austin Cook rolled a 675 series and qualified for the Division II boys state bowling tournament on Friday at Interstate Lanes in Rossford.
Cook will bowl at next Saturday’s state championship meet at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl after bowling games of 258, 170 and 247 for a 675 total that was the fourth-best individual score at the district tournament and the third-best for a bowler who is not on a team advancing to state.
NEW KNOXVILLE 51, MINSTER 50
MINSTER – Logan Leffel’s putback as the buzzer sounded gave the New Knoxville Rangers a 51-50 victory over the Minster Wildcats in the final regular season game for both teams on Friday night. New Knoxville’s Jalen Fullenkamp had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Andrew Arnett added 16 points. Minster seniors Gabe Goodwin and Matt Trushaw each had 13 points.
ST. MARYS — A St. Marys woman who became trapped under boxes was helped by two meter readers making a service call to the residence.
On Wednesday, Shane Walter and Andy Thobe were dispatched to a residence in reference to a frozen water line.
Utility Office Supervisor Carol Lengerich said the woman rescheduled several times before settling on an early afternoon service call.

WAPAKONETA — A few more details have been released regarding a shooting Sunday morning in Wapakoneta.
In a news release, Wapakoneta Police Chief Russ Hunlock said that at 4 a.m. Sunday, a resident in the 600 block of South Blackhoof Street noticed a suspicious person in the north/south alley. Another resident also reported seeing a suspicious person and went out to investigate.
WAPAKONETA — Three area teens have been arrested on charges of allegedly manufacturing a hallucinogenic drug.
At 9:04 p.m. Tuesday, officers from the Wapakoneta Police Department arrived at 402 Ashland, Apt. E12, via an anonymous tip regarding possible drug activity. During the investigation, officers discovered a suspected dimethyltryptamine (DMT) lab. DMT is classified as a schedule I hallucinogen.
• Nathaen M. Eastman, 18, 402 Ashland, Apt. E12, on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs.
