Adam D. Warren, 34

Adam D. Warren, 34, of 74 Riley St., Montezuma, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on June 16, 1980, in Dayton, the son of Alan and Debra (Mullins) Warren.

He married Trista Scaggs on May 18, 2003, in Clayton, and she survives at the residence.

He is survived by his parents, Alan and Debra Warren of St. Marys, by his wife, Trista;  son, “A.J.” Warren, of Montezuma; by his sister, Rachel (Pete) Jones of Brecksville; by his in-laws, Janie (Doug) Jeffery of Paintsville, Ky.; John Scaggs of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; by his paternal grandparents, Harold (Doris) Warren of Kettering; a cousin and best friend, Andrew (Heather) Nodzak of Kettering; nephews Jasper and Sawyer Jones of Brecksville and by numerous other cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Virgil and Florence Mullins.

Adam attended Northmont High School in Dayton and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Iraq War. He was employed at Veyance Corporation in St. Marys. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was an all around handyman who would do anything to help a friend.

Funeral rites will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys.

Mr. Warren will be interred near  his grandparents’ graves at the Red Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Ky.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.
