Albert F. Freytag, 87

Albert F. Freytag, 87, of 2233 State Route 362, Minster, died at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. 

He was born on Nov. 21, 1925, in Fort Loramie, to the late Albert and Amelia (Boerger) Freytag.

He married Marjorie M. “Marj” DeLaet on June 12, 1948, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie.  She survives in Minster. 

He is also survived by children Marge and Wayne Jones, Loveland, Dr. Thomas R. and Gwynne Freytag, Wapakoneta, William J. and Joyce Freytag, Botkins and Joseph R. and Lisa Freytag, Minster; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law. 

He was preceded in death by son Albert F. Freytag Jr.; two brothers; five sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding, officiant. 

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Center for Neurological Development.
