Grand Health Challenge Grand Finale

The Grand Health Challenge Grand Finale was held Tuesday evening at the Memorial High School PAC.
This year's winners are as follows: Top Male (individual) - Rich Martin, who lost 27.62 percent of his original bodyweight; 2nd place male - Aaron Sprigg, who lost 21.62 percent of his original bodyweight.
Top female (individual) - Kellei Metz, who lost 21.82 percent of her original bodyweight; 2nd place female - Kendra Niekamp, who lost 19.36 percent of her original bodyweight.
Team winners are as follows: 1st place overall winning team - Howe to Kill Fat!!!; the three-man team consisting of Kevin Howe, Chris Howe and Mike Kill lost an average of 27.82 percent of their original bodyweight. 2nd place overall team - Celery by the Ocean!!; couple James and Janelle Holtzapple lost an average of 20.40 percent of their original bodyweight.
Prize payouts for top male and female individual were $250 each; for 2nd place male and female individual, the payout was $150. The winning team received a grand prize of $1,000; and the 2nd place team received $500.
Participants lost a cumulative 3,409 pounds during the 2017 Grand Health Challenge.
