James D. “Jim” Davis, 76, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at his residence at Grand Lake St. Marys in Celina.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Don, JD and Nan Davis Huckeriede; three grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests  that memorials be directed to the St. Marys Community Foundation/Jim Davis Scholarship Fund, 146 E. Spring St., St. Marys, 45885, for an educational scholarship established in his name.
