Jim Jordan @ Auglaize County Republican Dinner

Congressman Jim Jordan made a surprise visit to the Auglaize County Republican Dinner Wednesday evening at 17 West in New Bremen. During the dinner, Jordan discussed welfare reform and ongoing "attacks" against President Donald Trump. In this video, he fields a constituent's question about his own safety. The constituent cited the 2017 Congressional baseball shooting, during which James Hodgkinson — a self-professed "leftwing activist" — shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise; Crystal Griner, a Capitol Police officer assigned to protect Scalise; Zack Barth, a Congressional aide and Matt Mika, a Tyson Foods lobbyist.
This morning, Jordan visited Setex in St. Marys, again to discuss jobs and welfare reform. Full-length articles on each visit will appear in the Thursday and Friday editions of The Evening Leader.
