Local Injured In Collision

NEW BREMEN — A Minster man was injured in a two-vehicle collision Sunday night.

According to a report from the Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 6:51 p.m., Paul Dues, of Minster, was driving a Ford Explorer south on Ohio 66, near Amsterdam Road, when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a northbound semi driven by Earl Gossett, of Anderson, Ind. Dues was transported to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys and then taken by Care Flight to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton for his injuries. The report indicated Gossett described the roads as ice covered at the time of the collision.

The collision remains under investigation.
