CONVOY — The Minster baseball team took its six-game winning streak north against a state-ranked Crestview team that ended the Wildcats’ two-year reign as Division IV champs last spring.
Minster (8-7) returned home with its streak intact.
The Wildcats roared past the eighth-ranked team in Division IV by a 10-0 score in a five-inning run-rule win.
Drew Ripploh threw the five-inning shutout for Minster, scattering five hits and striking out three.
Minster’s J.R. Nixon went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three runs batted in.

Minster improves to 8-7 after a 1-7 start to the season. Crestview fell to 10-2 — which was the score of its stunning district semifinal win over the Wildcats last year in a district semifinal game at Coldwater that ended Minster’s two-year run as state champs.
