CELINA — Officers from the Celina Police Department responded to a residence at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of North Sugar Street on a report that a male had fired a handgun inside the house.

Celina police officers and Mercer County Sheriff's deputies established a perimeter around the residence when they arrived to ensure the safety of residents in the area. The male had left the residence before officers arrived.
