Paul J. “Jerry” Koehl, 71, of Findlay, passed away at 11:58 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26,

2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1941, to the late Paul and Estella (Apple) Koehl in Dayton.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Janet M. Treece, whom he married on May 14, 1966.

Jerry is also survived by one son, Gregory S. Koehl of Findlay; one daughter, Susan M. Koehl of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Jeffery (Dee) Koehl of Piqua; and one sister, Sandra (Ted) Hasis of St. Marys.

Jerry was a 1959 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He retired in 2006 as a self-employed carpet installer. Jerry was a member of the Wayside Tournament Club and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed golfing and reading.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Coldren Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, the Rev. Kathy Tomazic, officiant. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
