Cavs Beat Warriors, Cleveland Ends 52-year Drought

The wait is over.

Finally.

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 93-89 to end a 52-year championship drought, becoming the first team in NBA history to be down 3-1 and come back to win an NBA title.

Kyrie Irving scored what ended being the game-winning shot, a 3-pointer to give Cleveland the lead with under a minute left.

Irving scored 26 points and LeBron James was one of three players in Game 7 Finals to record a triple-double with 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds.
