The Western Buckeye League named its all-league team Tuesday morning in boys and girls bowling where Austin Cook landed as a first-teamer.

Cook — who finished his junior year at state on Friday — was the lone Roughrider to earn first-team honors.

Hunter Murphy was named honorable mention for the Roughriders, who finished second in the league on the season, just behind Wapakoneta.

Austin Fought from Shawnee was named the Bowler of the Year and Jim Kaeck of Wapakoneta was named the Coach of the Year.

The WBL also released its girls all-league team, where Brittany Freytag was named to first-team.

Defiance’s Josee Hale was named Bowler of the Year and Wapakoneta’s Steve Rostorfer earned Coach of the Year honors.
