Eileen M. (Bohman) Winner, 85

Eileen M. (Bohman) Winner, 85, formerly of Oakwood Drive, Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes Saturday morning, July 16, 2011, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1926, in St. Rose, to Edward and Rose (Clune) Bohman, and they preceded her in death.

On April 21, 1948, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, Eileen was married to Anthony N. Winner, and he preceded her in death in 1971.

She is survived by three children, Chris (Gary) Maurer, Anthony (Janis) Winner and Kathy (John) Pleiman, all of Fort Loramie; nine grandchildren, Karie (Paul) Enneking, Jill (Ted) Hoelscher, Kelly (Scott) Junkin, Beth (Rich) Cramer, Angie (Kevin) Gehret, Mandy (Curt) Albers, Julie, Jackie and Jordan Pleiman and fiancé, Mallory Albers; 11 great-grandchildren, Evan, Ella and Corrine Hoelscher, Ian, Camille and Reid Junkin, Wesley, Rachel and Brooke Gehret, Cole and Elise Albers; three siblings, Don (Ann) Bohman of Minster, Connie Dunson-Lewis of Sidney, Jim (Linda) Bohman of Centerville; in-laws, Kathy Bohman of Minster and Orville “Bud” and Annie Winner of Minster.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Victoria Winner; a brother, Dan Bohman.

Eileen was a 1942 graduate of Minster High School. During World War II, she worked as a civilian at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She was retired from Marwil Products, where she had been a book-keeper and office manager. Additionally she had always been a homemaker.

Eileen attended St. Michael Catholic Church. She had been active in St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality and was a dedicated prayer line volunteer. Eileen enjoyed watching her grandchildren play basketball and was an avid Reds fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie, with the Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
