Fall Festival Schedule

Here is a schedule of events for the Fall Festival at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park this weekend:
Friday
4:00pm: Festival Begins: Arts and Crafts Vendors, Food Stands, get your fundraiser tickets (donation of $1.00/ticket) at the VIP Building (50/50 and 2 Burner Camp Stove)
6:00pm: DJ - Jeff Knittle – on stage – come and enjoy some good music

Saturday
8:00am: Breakfast: Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy – Grand Lake VIP Assoc. – VIP Building (donation of $4.00/each)
9:00am: Arts and Crafts Vendors, Food Stands opens, get your fundraiser tickets (donation of $1.00/ticket) at the VIP Building (50/50 and 2 Burner Camp Stove)
9:00am to noon – DREDGE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT – near basketball court – Ever wonder what equipment is needed to support the dredge operation? Equipment to be on display will include excavator, loader, backhoe, bulldozers – come check them out and talk with the local dredge operators.
10:00am: Puppet Show #1 – Seedsowers – near Nature Center
10:00-4:00pm: ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) – local rescue group with pets available for adoption
11:00am-12:30pm: Camping with your Dog! Bring your dog to amphitheater area to make a craft to take home!
11:00am-5:00pm: The Nature Center will be ROCKIN’ OUT for the last time this season! Hands on mineral (aka rocks!) activities and answers to your questions will be provided by Ken. He is with the Langston Minerals and Mercer County Library.
12:00-2:00pm – TOUCH-A-TRUCK at the Visitor’s Parking Lot, for small kids and big kids! Get your hands on a tow truck, dump truck, fire engine, police car and more!
1:00pm – Working K-9 Units (near Visitors parking lot), see local law enforcement dogs in action!
1:00pm: Puppet Show #2 – Seedsowers – near Nature Center
2:00pm-5:00pm: Archery Shooting Range: kids come and test your archery skills (near basketball court)
2:00-6:00pm: “DJ” Jeff Knittle playing at the Car Show Area
2:30-3:00pm – Cruise-In Registration – Visitors Parking Lot
3:00pm-4:30pm: Camping with your Dog! Bring your dog to amphitheater area to make a craft to take home!
3:00-6:00pm: Cruise-In Show – Visitors Parking Area
5:00-7:00pm: Canoe Opportunities: Division of Watercraft – near Camp Lagoon, hands on activities for all ages
6:00-9:00pm: “LONESOME TRAIN” live band on stage

Sunday
7:00am-9:30am: Kayak Opportunities: Sunrise Paddle – Camp Lagoon
8:00am: Donuts & Coffee – GLSM VIP Association – VIP Building
9:00am: Arts and Crafts Vendors, Food Stands opens, get your fundraiser tickets (donation of $1.00/ticket) at the VIP Building (50/50 and 2 Burner Camp Stove)
10:00am: Puppet Show #3 – Seedsowers – amphitheater
10:00am: Archery Shooting Range: kids come test your archery skills (near Basketball court)

3:00pm: Festival concludes, Fundraiser Drawing will be held at 3:00 pm at the VIP Building for a 2 Burner Camp Stove and 50/50 Drawing. (Need not be present to win).
