Minster Moves On, Faces Marion Local In Final

Leading the entire game, the Minster Wildcats used a 17-9 third quarter run to give the Wildcats cushion and, ultimately, the win Thursday night against Upper Scioto Valley in a 63-47 district semifinal victory at Wapakoneta High School.

The Wildcats will play Midwest Athletic Conference foe Marion Local, who defeated Crestview 24-19 in the early game of the Division IV district semifinal.

The Wildcats started the game with a 7-0 run; giving them a lead they never gave up. 

However, the Rams came back, keeping the game close at the half, down 28-23.

The Wildcats scored 17 points in the third quarter to give them a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats outscored the Rams 35-24 in the second half.
