Roughriders' Season Is Over

The St. Marys Roughriders' season is over after being swept in three sets to Ottawa-Glandorf in three sets, 25-21, 25-22, 25-8 in the Division regional semifinal match in Ontario Thursday night. It was the final game for Erika Angstmann, Natalie Kuenning and Cortney Voisard as the Roughriders end their season with 21 wins.

On the night, Erika Angstmann led the Riders with 12 kills. Ally Angstmann registered 10 kill and 16 digs. Allie Ernst had 12 digs and Kuenning finished with seven digs. Kuenning also had 23 assists and two aces.

The New Knoxville Rangers were also eliminated in the Division IV regional semifinal match in Tipp City, dropping all three sets to Jackson Center 25-15, 25-14, 25-16 Thursday night. It was the first time since 2006 that the Rangers made it to the regional round.
