Six members of the Grand Lake Mariners baseball team have been selected to this year’s 2015 All-Star team.

Playing for the Red All-Star team is first baseman Dalton Bollinger, shortstop Nick Roscetti, catcher Robert Greenman, centerfielder Alex Gransback, and pitchers Damien Helm and Jeff Paul.
The game takes place Tuesday, July 21 at 7:05 p.m. at Prasco Park in Mason.

Roscetti has led the team with a .372 batting average in 21 games this season, while Bollinger has found his niche for Grand Lake, mostly in the cleanup spot, where the University of Toledo starter is batting .313 with six doubles, one home run, 16 RBIs and 15 walks while playing first base for the Mariners where he has a .984 fielding percentage.

Greenman has been solid behind the plate with a .982 fielding percentage and is batting a healthy .309 clip, tied for the team-high 16 runs batted in and Gransbackhas been a nice late addition to the Mariners’ offense, thriving in the leadoff spot with departed Aaron Bence leaving the team.

The most dominate pitcher for the Mariners is Jeff Paul who owns a 0.00 ERA in 11 appearances so far this season.
Left-hander Helm has been effective on the mound as well sporting a manageable 1-0 record in three starts with an ERA of 2.34. He has pitched 23 innings in five games played, allowing six runs on 23 hits while having an impressive 18/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio, averaging seven strikeouts per nine innings. His WHIP is a solid 1.13.

Hamilton manager Darrel Grisson will coach the Red Team.
