Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest

Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced a routine traffic stop ended in a drug arrest.
Deputies stopped a 2002 Dodge truck at 303 N. Main St. for not using its turn signal on several occasions.
The driver’s actions led the deputy to call for a drug dog, which alerted on the vehicle.
The driver of the truck, Michael H. Toler, 49, of Celina, was found to be in possession of several
packages of suspected methamphetamine, as well as a pipe used to smoke the substance.
He was arrested at the scene and transported to the Mercer County Detention Center, where he is being held on charges of possession of a drug abuse instrument, a second-degree
His bond was set at $100,000.
Further charges are expected pending review by the Mercer County prosecutor.
