Division IV District Final Baseball

Fort Recovery 7, Minster 2

The Minster Wildcats baseball team got a pair of runs in the first inning but a pair of three-run innings by the Fort Recovery Indians allowed them to comeback with a 7-2 victory in the Division IV District championship Saturday at Coldwater.
The district championship for the Indians will send them to the regionals for the first time since 1953.

Minster ends its season at 18-9.

Division II District Final Baseball

Bath 6, Wapakoneta 4
The trophy that the Wapakoneta Redskins brought back to Auglaize County on Saturday was not the color they’re used to owning.
The Redskins collected a gold-colored district championship trophy in each of the past three seasons but that run ended Saturday in a 6-4 loss to the Bath Wildcats in a high school baseball Division II district final at Bluffton University, leaving them with a silver-colored runner-up trophy.
